Movicon 11 SCADA

    

    Before starting Movicon 11, I would like mention "What Is SCADA", "Industrial Usage Of SCADA" and "Progea & Movicon 11" respectively.    

What Is SCADA?

    SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is a software system that works on a specific hardware in the industry for:

• Controlling (PLCs and RTUs for plant elements such as actuators, valves, final control sensors)
• Monitoring (Energy and plant production monitoring such as flow meters, energy analyzers, sensors)
• Reporting (Reporting the data of how much energy is consumed or how much raw material is loaded into a silo)
• Recording (Using database, important data is stored into electronically way)

Industrial Usage Of SCADA?

    In most industrial organizations, SCADA systems are frequently using to make control easy, to know the production steps and productivity, energy monitoring for finding leaks from the pipes and energy efficiency. SCADA systems are backbone of many modern industries, including:

• Energy - Oil and Gas - Power 
• Food and Beverage
• Manufacturing
• Recycling - Water and Waste Water

• Dynamic operations for symbols.(I am going to add an example of "Dynamic Animation" below)

   I would like to give example one of my project that we finished last year. This SCADA program was a kind of "controlling all production plant". The plant is made up of 21 silos and each of them has valves, motors and sensors. In addition there are three load cells installed in order to monitor the consumption of raw materials.
